The last race before the New year was held on 29. December in Hrotovice, Czech Republic. Attendance at the most popular race in Czech Republic was huge again with more than 130 racers in 6 categories: Modified, Stock, Formula, GT and Buggy 2WD and 4WD. The racing day was pretty long starting around 9 a.m and ending at 11 p.m. We also had the opportunity to practice on Friday and adapt the carâ™s set-up for this track.
Mod:
There were 30 drivers from all over the Europe (Poland, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Slovakia etc) battling for the win. Names like Sieber, Cerny, Gollner, Mara, Orlowski, Fadtke, Singer and much more are well known. I was very fast from the beginning winning all 3 qualifications but closely followed by the very fast Marek Cerny with his XRAY T4 and local driver Radek Flek also driving the XRAY T4. Starting from the pole was a very good advantage because the track was technical without any chance to overtake unless the driver in front of you made a mistake. I won first two final races and took overall win. Radek Flek finished in second and Marek Cerny with the same points but worse result in the final was in third. |

Stock:
I tried a lot of changes on the car but this weekend it was Marek Cerny the man to beat. He was superfast all day and even I tried my best I couldnâ t challenge him for the win. He won all 3 qualifications and first and last final race. In the second one he had a problem with batteries.
Buggy 4WD:
This was my second ever electric buggy race and it was super fun! I was pretty fast compare to other buggy drivers. I change my setup too late to challenge for the win. Anyway, I finished second in qualification just behind lighting fast XRAY driver Jiri Mara and I also finished second in the finals. So 1 and 2 place in Buggy class went to XRAYâ s new XB4 which is super fast and stable with lot of steering and minimum traction rolling.
This was fourth Mibosport Cup race out of 8. The next race take place on the same day with DHI Cup and a weekend after we have a huge ETS race on the new carpet and super good hall and organization. Should be fun ! |
